Sharing my love for Beauty & Makeup: September 2007

Hello to whoever is out there searching the web and stumbled into my little world here! I've always love to take pictures. Either getting them taken or taking them myself. 90% of the time its me taking my own pics of me!!

A few months ago I found out that I love makeup more than I thought.

I went to a MAC counter, which i'd never been to before, and got my makeup done. Sorry to seem so ditzy, but I also didnt know that they would makeup your face....AND FREE!! lol So I go and get my face done and WOW!!! I LOVE IT.

I'd never really had my face done before (well one before at a Fashion Fair counter and it was HORRIBLE!!!)

I have never been a fan of foundation and eyeshadow unless um doing a show (i'm an aspiring singer)

I NEVER have been a fan of blush.

However, the lady who did my face, who's name I think I remember as Holly, she did a great job. My other group members:

TaHh, Lil Mama, and D'Nique. Also loved the work that was done by Ms. Holly. We loved it so much, the show we were set to do that day was rained out, and we had a show the next morning, WE SLEPT IT IN and it was still perfect the next morning into the afternoon.

Needless to say, I studied what was on my face, how it was applied and what colors were used, and said to myself....self, you can do this. So I go out and begin the buying makeup. Havent stopped and dont plan on it. I think this time I really have found what to do as a profession. I mean Ive tried plenty other things that I am great at:

Sewing, knitting, crocheting, fishing, singing, dancing, cooking, baking, computers, web design...the list goes on. All of those were and are great "hobbies" to have. But I'm 27 years old and havent found that one career that I want to do for the rest of my life.

That is until I discovered, I love doing makeup. Beauty is one thing that will never get old. There will be makeup as long as there are beautiful faces to put it on.

With that long boring intro out of the way, I've decided to add stuff on makeup here periodically. Of couse as I take pictures of new things I learn, I'll add them here. Also with me just starting out, alot of the makup I have purchased it along the "drugstore brand" lines, and as I get better and more $$ i'll be moving up in the ranks as in what makeup I buy.
